Cancer Screening Support – Ms. Padma Rao
Ms. Padma Rao, a domestic cook associated with OC Foundation, underwent cancer screening tests, including ultrasonography (USG) and mammography. This initiative reflects OC Foundation’s commitment to promoting preventive healthcare, raising awareness about women’s health, and ensuring access to essential medical screening services. Regular health check-ups and timely screening play an important role in early diagnosis and better treatment outcomes.

ANM Nurses Training – July 2026
In July 2026, a training programme for Auxiliary Nurse Midwives (ANMs) was conducted to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in maternal and child healthcare, antenatal and postnatal care, immunization, and community health services.
The programme aimed to strengthen their capacity to provide quality healthcare, promote health awareness, and support improved health outcomes in the communities they serve.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Healthcare
Training Initiative
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 4 June 2024 in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, between Gita & Susil Kumar Das Foundation (GnSkD Foundation), also known as AidKriya, a not-for-profit company registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India (CIN: U85300WB2021NPL248465), and OrangeCross Foundation (OCF).
The partnership aims to provide specialized training to healthcare attendants to strengthen their skills in patient care and support services for individuals suffering from Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) and arthritis.
As part of this initiative, eligible young women from rural backgrounds were mobilized and enrolled in healthcare training to equip them with essential knowledge and practical skills in patient assistance and care management.
The initiative seeks to enhance their employability while promoting access to trained healthcare support for patients in need.

1. MOBILIZATION
Interested and eligible candidates were identified, shortlisted, and mobilized for specialized healthcare training. The initiative focused on preparing candidates with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to provide appropriate patient care and support.
2. TRAINING
Shortlisted candidates underwent focused training designed to enhance their healthcare knowledge, practical competencies, and ability to assist patients with specific healthcare needs.
3. DONATION AND COMMUNITY HEALTH INITIATIVES

Financial Contribution: A donation of ₹10,000 was received from Shri Ajaya Keshari Bhanja in support of the Foundation’s initiatives.

Free Health Check-up Camps: Free health check-up camps were organized for senior citizens to promote preventive healthcare, encourage regular health assessments, and improve access to essential medical services.
